Brief History of Silverday Press
Books for Christian Living
Virginia's study and pursuit of the gentle and quiet spirit described in 1 Peter 3:4 as "of great worth to God" changed her life and also her marriage. Women who heard her share and teach about the value of a gentle and quiet spirit discovered the impact in their lives too and urged her to write a book. Silverday Press was founded in 2003 to publish A Gentle & Quiet Spirit.

As a follow-up to her first book, in 2007, Virginia published Pursuing Purity and Spiritual Beauty, a book about the privilege and power of purity and spiritual beauty.  Today, women all over the world have read these life-changing books and heard Virginia speak.

In 2001, Jim's desire for a better understanding of the grace of God and curiosity about verses like "grace teaches us to say no to ungodliness" and "my grace is sufficient" led him to pose the question: "what is the difference between grace, mercy and forgiveness?" No one who Jim asked had a clear-cut answer. That led Jim to embark on a study and period of spiritual growth that was eventually shared in book form in 2008 as The Complete Guide to Grace. The insights in this book have helped many Christians, young and old in the Lord,  feel the favor of God in their lives and understand the foundational principles of grace, mercy and forgiveness as well as faithfulness and obedience to God.
