Making Yourself Beautiful fo God
Even though few of us women will use the word beautiful to describe ourselves, almost all of us are devoted to looking more lovely. We do crazy things toward this goal -- exercise till it hurts, deny ourselves favorite foods, employ torturous techniques to remove unwanted hair, use chemicals to color our hair -- the list goes on and on. Whether we want to admit it or not, we do these things because beauty is empowering. We all have felt the confidence a compliment brings or the deflation of looking at an unflattering photo.

It’s helpful to remember that God gave us our love of beauty, and that He created so many beautiful things for our enjoyment. He also explains in the scriptures that there is another whole world of beauty that we do not want to miss -- the beauty of the soul. This is an amazing beauty that will empower us in ways that our physical beauty cannot, and this beauty will never fade.

Are you as devoted to your spiritual beauty as you are your physical beauty? What if tomorrow morning you awake and look into your mirror and all you can see is your spirit? What would your reflection reveal to you? Have you taken the time to make yourself beautiful to God? In Virginia’s Pure Beauty Workshop, she explains what spiritual beauty is, why we would want it and how purity is one of the greatest beauty treatments of the soul. Learn the secrets of the beauty that never fades.
